Camomile - Customs Liasioning Manager

Description:

Customs liaison manager has to co-ordinate, communicate and troubleshoot movement of export and import consignment to guarantee on time deliveries.

Roles and responsibilities;

1. Manages the import /export process and ensures compliance with local and international laws and regulations.

2. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.

3. Maintain a good rapport with government bodies and other stakeholders and should be capable of resolving the issues.

4. Ensure that the required shipping documentation is correctly established and coordinates with service providers at the origin and receiving end.

5. Advising the management in import and export transactions on cost, logistics, and legal compliance.

6. Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

7. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.

Qualifications :

1. BBA /MBA/B Com in logistics, supply chain or operations.

2. Familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices and procedures

3. Knowledge of export and import laws and regulations.

Experience :

3-5 yrs as an export-import manager/ clearing and forwarding agent.
