Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Manager based in our Mumbai location. The Business Manager will be a key driver in overseeing and optimizing daily business operations, formulating and executing strategic business initiatives, streamlining operational processes, and effectively managing organizational resources. This pivotal role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance. The Business Manager will also be responsible for meticulous budget management, providing effective supervision and guidance to team members, and cultivating strong, lasting relationships with both clients and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop, implement, and monitor strategic business plans and initiatives aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Operational Oversight: Manage and optimize daily business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Foster effective communication and collaboration across different departments, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, Production, and Finance, to achieve seamless workflows and project execution.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive landscapes.

Budget Management and Financial Acumen: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement cost optimization strategies.

Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage human, financial, and material resources to maximize efficiency and achieve business targets.

Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all business activities are conducted in compliance with relevant industry regulations and legal requirements.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze business performance, and provide regular reports to senior management.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of 4+ years of progressive experience in business management, strategy development, market analysis, and resource management.

Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams effectively.

Excellent interpersonal and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, and client relationship management abilities.

Strong financial acumen, including demonstrated skills in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost optimization.

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.

Experience within relevant industry sectors such as food, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is also required.
