Job Summary : As a Senior Manager, Risk Management, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and managing various risks that may impact our organization's financial, operational, and strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies and leading a team of risk professionals to ensure the company's risk profile is effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Risk Assessment and Identification: Identify and assess potential risks to the organization across various dimensions, including financial, operational, regulatory, and reputational.
- Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize exposure and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and maintain monitoring statistics to track key risk indicators (KRIs) and report on risk exposures to the executive team.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of compliance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay current with industry regulations and standards, ensuring the organization's activities remain in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Risk Modeling and Analysis: Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to assess potential risks and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to respond effectively to unforeseen events and minimize potential damage or liability.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate risk management into the strategic planning process, enabling informed decision-making on a day to day basis.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in risk management practices and implementing necessary changes.
- Risk Management Policy: Design, draft, implement and monitor risk management policy for the company and its associate companies
Qualifications :
- Degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in risk management, with a track record of progressive leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools, data analysis, and risk modeling software.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CRM, DRM, MIRM) are a plus.
