Overall Role requirement:

- The role requires the candidate to be responsible for executing multiple projects of the client’s Corporate Audit Group (CAG) comprising of internal audits in the field of corporate functions such as Accounts, Finance, HR, Regulatory and Compliance. The candidate should have a very good understanding of Banking / financial services companies’ related accounts and regulatory / compliance. In addition, the candidate should have a fair understanding of related operational processes such as Treasury, retail and wholesale lending, restructuring, etc.

- Determine whether areas reviewed are performing control activities in compliance with applicable policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with both organizational objectives and high standards of administrative practice. Report findings and make recommendations for the correction of noted control deficiencies, improvements in operations, and reductions in cost. Maintain strong client focus by building strong relationships with clients, scheduling and conducting key client meetings, including driving and identifying potential mining opportunities, etc.

Required qualifications and skill sets

- Required experience of 3-5 / 5+ years (as the case may be) of experience in Banking / financial services company or risk management / stat audit profiles with the Big 4 consulting firms, with specific experience in Banking / financial services covering:

- Regulatory / Compliance (KYC, AML, Surveillance, Front running, Insider Trading, Vendor Management, Capital Adequacy requirements, etc.

- Compliance - experience supporting financial institutions with banking, securities, investment management, anti-money laundering and/or anti-corruption compliance experience.

- Very strong communication skills (written and spoken English)

- Positive Attitude, Eye for details, Quality output

- Having served global clients would be an added advantage
