About our Client - Our client is a Leading Investment Bank with full suite of financial product offering to their clients across the globe. India has been growing as the centre of excellence for key IB functions and in order to accentuate the growth within the business, the client is looking at seasoned finance professional to handle their global operations.

Job Description - Reporting to the VP - Finance, the key responsibility would include:

- Provide a detailed monthly report on status of compliance and highlight issues of non compliance

- Conduct periodic risk assessments and response plans

- Conduct internal monitoring and auditing of areas of concern

- Understand tax laws, corporate laws, foreign exchange laws and any other law as relevant and using that to assess risk

- Own adherence to accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, Indian GAAP) for investment companies as well as fund entities, roll out new standards where necessary

- Responsible for other accounting and finance initiatives including treasury, cash flow forecasting, investor communication, audits

- Assist in managing key P&Ls and in managing costs, reporting to the leadership

- Maintain full substantiation of balance of assigned control reconciliations

- Developing, managing & mentoring the team to meet business requirements

The Successful Candidate - You are a qualified CA 2002-06, coming from an investment banking domain (MNC) with excellent exposure to ledger control, accounting and reporting, compliance and balance sheet substantiation. Excellent presentation and communication is a must since you would be interacting with senior stakeholders. You must be available to join immediately.
