BYJU'S - Senior Counsel - Compliance & Litigation - LLB/LLM - Bangalore

Reporting to : Assistant Vice President - Legal

Location: Bangalore (Candidate should be open to travel as per the business requirements)

Minimum qualification and PQE required:

- LLB/ LLM from a reputed law school in India

- 8 years of PQE preferably in-house

- In-house profiles having experience in handling compliances (including registrations, permits and periodical filings) under applicable laws, handling dispute resolution matters, researching and analysing various applicable laws and liaising with external consultants on various resolution matters

- Drafting notices/responses to notices pertaining to notices received from regulatory authorities and/or customers

Skills required:

- Excellent drafting and communication skills

- Ability to coordinate with multiple business teams to provide necessary legal support

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating relevant dispute resolution matters

- Ability to identify business risks and suggest protective legal measures against such risks

- Handling and leading completion of corporate actions as part of any compliance or dispute resolution related matters

- Research and drafting of legal advisories for business teams pertaining to various compliances and disputes

- Liaising with external consultants to provide support to business teams on compliances and disputes

- Managing data base of compliance matters and preparing data room

- Coordination and providing support on corporate secretarial matters
