WhiteHat Jr was created to solve the #1 gap in our school system today. Today, less than 1% of schools teach algorithmic thinking in the computer age despite research indicating early years as the turning point for deep coding skills. WhiteHat Jr prepares kids 5-12 for this new world. Kids learn both the fundamentals of coding- logic, sequence, structure, algorithmic thinking - and experience the joy of creative expression in building animations, games, and apps using code.
Post-acquisition by BYJU's in August 2020, WhiteHat Jr has an entered into a phase of accelerated growth and expansion in Indian and global markets.
The Role:
WhiteHat Jr is looking for an experienced Sr. Sales Leader to join our team to strengthen our sales and market reach capabilities and also expand our product diversity.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible architecting a sales strategy and building out a team across vertical and mid-market sales.
- The person should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head to head opportunities.
- The business is already a significant contributor to BYJU'S overall revenue and growth, and moving into the next phase of growth and expansion.
- Within this context, we are looking at Senior Sales Leader to lead and manage our Inside/Outbound/International sales team across multiple location in the country.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Business:
- Overall end-to-end ownership for developing and implementing sales strategy to achieve customer base and market share targets for the WhiteHat Jr.
- Utilize creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to develop innovative strategies drive business growth
- Evaluate the market position of competing products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques
- Manage revenue performance by providing timely and accurate forecasts, and by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities
- Liaison with other teams to ensure brand consistency in customer communications
- Ensure all feedback (product, process, market, partner etc.) is recorded and incorporated while devising the sales strategy
- Ensure implementation of appropriate reward and recognition, incentive framework for various sales channels
- Ensure that regular reviews happen as per defined frequency course correction measures are finalized and effectively implemented
Leadership :
- To lead and drive a motivated team; provide clarity on the stated objectives and specific plans to implement them.
- Responsible for breaking down the targets amongst team members and measure their performance on the achievement of these targets
- To create ownership and integration amongst various functions across the organization
- Drive a performance-oriented unit and integrate key functions that are interdependent
Candidate Profile:
- 12+ years of sales leadership experience in the digital domain
- Proven leadership experience in managing large scale sales operations; proven and consistent track record of executing against aggressive growth strategies and delivering against targets
- Successful track record in driving growth
- Experience of devising GTM strategies, driving hyper-growth and scaling a business for digital businesses / start-ups with a strong customer excellence attitude
- Entrepreneurial experience with a hands-on orientation
- Energetic self-starter with strong executive presence and the ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment
- Experience in managing and leading a high performing sales team
Team leadership :
- Strong people leader with demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, coach, develop and retain high-performing teams across various functional areas.
- Strong and adept communicator
- Experience working and communicating effectively to all levels of management and demonstrated skills in dealing at the executive level in large organization with the ability to deal with the most ambiguous situation
