The Role:
Byjus is looking for a Data Analyst for the Marketing Measurement team that is chartered to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing efforts with insights from impactful data analytics work.
The position will report into Lead Marketing Measurement and will be based out of Bangalore (currently WFH due to the pandemic).
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in measuring impact of Marketing Activities for an online business
- Knowledge of analysing large data sets of primary or secondary data
- Strong Data crunching/analysis capabilities using SQL and Tableau
- Analytics capabilities using Python/R
- Demonstrated experience in setting up reports/dashboards and conducting adhoc-analysis with minimal supervision
- Understanding of regression, segmentation and other analytical methods
- Knowledge/experience in Google Data Studio, Google Big Query would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Work with a variety of marketing stakeholders and interpreting insights from data that is relevant to the stakeholder
- Learn about all marketing data sources used in the company both internal databases as well as ad publisher data sources (Ex: Google Ads, Facebook, AppsFlyer)
- Develop understanding of ATL, BTL and Digital marketing activities and be able to provide insights around them
- Develop reports/dashboards and own them for our stakeholders
- Making sure that the quality of data that Marketing Measurement gets on a daily basis is accurate and useful
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis basis requests from stakeholders or managers and at times developing statistical/machine learning models
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor/ Masters Degree with 2-3 years of experience in Business/Data Analytics profile preferably in an online business and/or marketing function
- Experience in Data Analysis, Marketing Analytics, Media Mix, Digital Marketing, Campaign Analytics, CRM Analytics
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
- Must be detail-oriented and analytical, problem solving, have self-motivated and organized personality that thrives in a data-driven environment
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and builds strong relationships across functions
- High ownership, self-starter and work in a constantly changing and fast growing environment
