Role & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for development of franchising opportunities. ( lead generation)
- Identifies potential franchisees through contacts within communities.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- Manages franchisee evaluation, selection and certification and supervises franchisee performance.
- Evaluates market conditions and recommends strategies for franchise expansion.
- Take full and sole accountability for the franchise centers P&L
- On-board all new Franchisees to the processes and policies of Buyelectric, and ensure they are followed
- Act as a coach and mentor for the Franchisee to grow and develop their business
- Collaborate with the Franchisee during the business planning process
- Manage trainers in the franchise centers and create development plans to support their personal growth
- Encourage collaboration and resolve the conflicts between the Franchisee and Buyelectric Trainers
- Franchise Development will be responsible to expand franchise network in the assigned area/ clusters. He will be responsible for Generating leads, Meeting prospects, Getting applications, Giving LOI (Letter of Intent) and Overseeing completion of new franchisee workshops - LOI to COS (Commencement of Service).
Primary Responsibilities :
- Plan the expansion within the Area /cluster: Identify potential towns/city, identify the potential catchments/location within the city/town, prepare strategy to identify and prospect the potential partners in each location.
- Funnel management: Manage the prospects funnel and ensure enough flow at various stages. Conduct lead generation campaigns and activities to add more enquiries and prospects in the funnel
- Prospecting: Meet and present business model and Franchise Value Proposition to the prospects. Qualify prospect to the next level based on interactions. Trigger due-diligence process and field assessment process for the qualified partners.
- He should like meeting people, traveling to places and setting up new business.
- Identify and implement interventions required to shrink the prospecting to LOI time
- Oversee the LOI to COS phase which involves Infrastructure development, Equipment procurement, Manpower recruitment and training, Corporate Identity implementation and hand over to operations team.
Secondary Responsibilities :
- Give inputs on enhancing the franchise value proposition
- Provide insights on completion analysis and strategy
- Head- Franchise Development should be MBA / BE/ Graduate with experience in network development or Channel Sales.
- He should possess essential Functional and Behavioral Competencies
Functional skills required to execute the role:
- He should have hands on experience in Franchise Development or New Channel Development in Product/Service Category
- Possess Business Know How
- Expert in Network Development
- Expert in Project Management
- Should have past experience of initiating, developing and maintaining channel sales of industrial electrical products like cables, wires, pumps, motors, switch gears etc
