Buy Side Equity Research Analyst - IT Sector

Company: A leading AMC over 25 years old

Role: Equity Research (IT/Technology/Internet sector)

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

- Creating and maintaining earnings, valuation, and industrial models for the assigned sector(s)

- Analyzing data to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

- Identifying actionable investment ideas. Help the team to create alpha by providing timely buy/sell recommendations.

- Maintaining proper documentation and constant coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments. Disseminate your insight to the team on a timely basis.

- Devising and performing your primary research methods, keeping abreast of trends and sentiment in their sectors and markets.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in finance, economics/ CA

- In-depth understanding of sectors covered. In addition, a deep understanding of fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and valuation

- Sectors: IT/Technology/Internet

- Prior experience in buy/sell side equity research of a minimum of 3 years would be preferred

- CA/FRM/CFA/MBA is a plus
