Business Valuation Role - Financial Services Firm

Urgent opening for the Business Valuation role at Financial services company

In this role, you will be expected to :

- Lead and coach a team of business valuation professionals

- Manage workflow, delivery, team utilization and act as point of contact for the onshore Geo(s)

- Responsible for execution of end-to-end valuation engagements incl. PPA - ASC 805, goodwill and asset impairment analyses (ASC 350/360), valuations of stock options under ASC 718 and IRC 409A

- Perform audit reviews and appraising third-party valuation reports

- Be responsible for the high-quality timely delivery of projects by self and the team members

- Be involved in recruitment, learning and development and performance management

- Build strong brand equity with onshore stakeholders

- Lead/contribute to at least one CF team level task force; actively lead team discussions/ CF events / knowledge sharing platforms

Job Requirements :

Mandatory Skills :

- Qualifications: CA / CFA / MBA (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management)

- Total Experience: The candidate must have 5 to 8 years of working experience in business valuation roles

- Command over advanced valuation techniques for business and intangible valuations

- Strong knowledge and hands on experience of working on financial models

- Strong knowledge of relevant respective local GAAP or IFRS standards

- A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business, economic environment and sound commercial acumen

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong team handling skills to effectively lead a team and guide junior colleagues

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to multi-task and handle pressure situations

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience in performance management

- Ability to handle difficult situations (people/client)
