The Business Unit Head will be responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, business development, and manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will drive business growth and manage the overall P&L across multiple units of the organization. This role requires a strategic leader capable of scaling the business and improving operations across various functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business goals, boost profits, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Identify, assess, and capitalize on new business opportunities, as well as optimizing existing opportunities.
- Focus on scaling the business by 5x, particularly in untapped and emerging markets.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align business objectives and ensure the success of the strategy.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery processes.
- Lead the business through innovation and market expansion while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- An Engineering graduate degree or MBA with a minimum of 15+ years of experience in equipment manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, industrial machinery, or capital equipment sectors, along with exposure to managing multiple business units and P&L responsibilities.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of scaling businesses and driving results.
