Title: Business Head (BH) Healthcare

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: President - Indian Subcontinent

The BH is responsible to work on the Business strategy, Market Expansion and lead & drive Strategic Initiatives for an aggressive growth. The position has a P& L responsibility for the Professional Business - Healthcare Sector for India & the Subcontinent.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

General Management :

- Develops annual budget targets (consolidated profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement) with forecast investments, personnel and productivity targets

- Develops high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.

- Manages the financial, commercial, legal and operational performance of the business under his/her remit. (Design, adopt and execute sales, services, product, marketing and operating strategies for the country's Professional business unit to ensure sustained growth in alignment with regional corporate objectives.)

- Participation in leadership meetings (regional or sub-regional as applicable), on annual business unit budgeting, strategic growth planning, talent development and succession, product planning and positioning.

- Identifies & Executes strategic development initiatives issued from the regional/global level.

- Represents the company in all matters involving operations, clients, authorities, legal aspects and furthermore, promptly inform the Leadership on any matters that could have a substantial impact on the business.

- Identifies and manages continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, ensuring improved productivity and performance.

- Responsible for Talent acquisition, retention and learning strategies for the Business Unit.(Ensures the achievement of company's targets by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal to maximise performance.)

- Builds and maintains relationships with customers (internally and externally) to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimum profit.

Qualifications :

- Graduate Engineer with a Management degree.

Experience & Skills :

- Proven track record of leadership with 15 to 18 yrs experience in managing a P&L role in a B2B environment.

- Ability to operate in complex situations with high level of management and leadership skills to facilitate visionary strategic planning and translate strategic direction into programs, services and people performance.

- Extensive commercial awareness and business acumen including deep knowledge of the market and industry in India.

- Adept and comfortable in a matrixed style of management.

- Advanced decision making abilities & experience in commercial negotiations.
