Client:
Our Client is Asia's leading tech-education firm valued at over $600 Million. They have a strong presence in the country and have done 10,000+ placement with 400+ companies. They are among the leading upskilling platforms with around 1 million and above registered users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for go-to-market strategy (GTM) and hands on execution of the same.
- Build cross-functional GTM plans that rally the Bachelors org to the highest growth priorities across the learner lifecycle, from acquisition to retention
- Formulate GTM strategy for the initial phases of launch of the Bachelors program to achieve scale quickly and drive the execution with a focus on core brand design
- Collaborate meaningfully with our marketing and sales orgs to execute GTM plans at scale
- Responsible for being able to build teams to manage programs very closely
- Use qualitative and quantitative data-driven models to measure, analyze, and synthesize actionable insights across the learner lifecycle, and disseminate knowledge broadly across cross-functional orgs.
- Contribute to the wider business through thought leadership, knowledge sharing, recruitment and mentoring.
Preferred experience and skill sets:
- 12+ years relevant work experience in building, executing and scaling consumer business in fast paced environments.
- Go-to-market strategy (GTM) heavy experience building a large consumer brand. Decent understanding of marketing and sales engines. Should have done some bit of brand building themselves in the past.
- Strong operational muscle to have handled large scale operations.
- Experience in at least one zero to one build-up - having been resourceful to navigate a hard market.
- Deep analytical skills, with high capacity to think strategically about complex issues, evaluate alternatives, and make compelling recommendations based on proven business case analysis.
- Ability to collaborate with various departments by utilizing superior relationship-building skills, interpersonal skills, and influence.
- Perseverance and drive manifested in a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done.
- Effective communication and influencing skills; and a passion for education.
- Good to have: Some exposure to education businesses in the past.
- Must have done undergrad in tier 1 engineering school and PG in top MBA school. (IIT/IIM/NIT/XLRI preferred)
