Job Summary: Geno Pharma is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Unit Head for our Clean Care Products division, specifically focusing on the Dermatology (Derma) segment.
The ideal candidate will lead a team of professionals and oversee the strategic development, growth, and profitability of the Derma product portfolio.
This role requires a strong blend of leadership, business acumen, and pharmaceutical industry expertise to drive success in the Clean Care Products' Derma business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Derma product portfolio in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and market entry strategies.
2. Product Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from product development and launch to post-launch marketing and sales support.
- Collaborate with R&D and regulatory teams to ensure product compliance and timely product registration.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of professionals, including sales, marketing, and product development, to achieve business unit objectives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
4. Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive product growth and market penetration.
- Monitor sales performance and provide guidance to the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
5. Financial Management:
- Manage the budget for the Derma business unit, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Analyze financial data, prepare forecasts, and make strategic decisions to optimize revenue and profitability.
6. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including product registrations, quality standards, and safety regulations.
7. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, opinion leaders, and key stakeholders in the dermatology field.
8. Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive intelligence to shape product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with significant experience in the dermatology (Derma) segment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve financial targets.
