About:
- Our client is a top 10 pharmaceutical firm based in Mumbai
- The Business Unit Head for Acute Therapy will be entrusted with defining and executing the strategic vision for our portfolio of anti-infection and anti-bacterial products.
- The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in pharmaceutical management, demonstrated leadership in team development, and a proven track record in marketing and sales excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Formulate and execute the strategic plan for the Acute Therapy division, emphasizing anti-infection and anti-bacterial solutions.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess competitive dynamics, and stay abreast of industry trends.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of professionals across marketing and sales.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture that aligns with organizational goals and drives results.
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to enhance product positioning and stimulate market demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives.
Sales Management:
- Create and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and broaden market penetration.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Product Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the management of the anti-infection and anti-bacterial product portfolio throughout its lifecycle.
- Coordinate with R&D, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure effective product development and market launch.
Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve fiscal objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional forums.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with substantial expertise in managing anti-infection and anti-bacterial therapies.
- Industry Background: Experience with top pharmaceutical firms in India is highly desirable.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop large teams, with a strong emphasis on achieving strategic goals.
- Marketing & Sales Expertise: Extensive knowledge of marketing and sales strategies within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
