Business Systems Analyst

Prefer candidates from Banking and financial sector.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Strong understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards. Significant knowledge of industry practices.
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems of large scope within a Department. Creates new tools, establishes new precedents and develops policies with limited manager assistance or oversight. Considered a problem solving resource within the Department.
- Work is performed independently with limited management oversight and direction. Sets own objectives with feedback in partnership with manager.
- Plans and executes work product with some coaching and support. Work is reviewed only on an as needed basis.
- Significantly contributes to Department/Channel level projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would result in significant expenditure of Department or Channel resources to rectify.
- Lead Workshops with the Business teams and Prepare requirements Document jointly with other team members
- Identify and recommend best practice CRM Capabilities to support vision
- Prepare Technical Analysis Report jointly with other team members – key role to prepare process fitment and functional fitment
- Perform analysis of implementation approach options and prepare and review Implementation Strategy Document jointly with other team members
- Support estimates for implementation efforts, costs and timelines jointly with other team members – key role to provide inputs on Salesforce.com implementation, customization, integration and deployment efforts, timelines and costs
- Prepare detailed Implementation Plan Document jointly with other team members – key role to provide inputs on Delivery methodology, .net Implementation methodology, Development approach and standards and Integration Standards.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree, plus 7-8 years of related work experience (or equivalent)
- Experience of working in the Insurance, Debt Management, Banking.
- Direct and Active involvement on 2-3 full lifecycle projects.
Other Skills
- Works independently as liaison between developers, various business groups, corporate leadership, and IT
- Partners with architects to ensure solution supports current IT direction
- Maintains effective relationships within business and IT at various levels of the organization
- Expert in working with one development methodology (Waterfall, iterative, or Scrum)
- Skilled in working with business leaders and IT management to define the project scope
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), considering context, content, audience, etc.
- Ability to gain solid knowledge of service team apps and general knowledge of other service team apps
- Ability to gain knowledge of infrastructure, services, databases, user interfaces, and some knowledge of technologies used within the company
- Can develop requirements for large, enterprise-wide projects with stakeholders from multiple department’s across multiple platforms
- Superior in formulating and documenting business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications with little supervision
