Business Research –IT/Technology sector

We have an immediate requirement for the positions in Business/ Industry Research for a leading Consulting company at Bangalore.

Experience: 5-8 years business research experience, preferably in a consulting environment, equity brokerage, third party research organization for Technology/ IT sector.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform secondary research focusing on Technology/ IT topics utilizing a number of sources, internal and external, paper and electronic, including web-based, and online databases.

- Assist with supporting research needs in the areas of business process outsourcing, IT outsourcing, Cloud, Infrastructure and other topics which require support.

- Prepare budget estimates for research projects and ensure project budget constraints and project record keeping requirements are observed.

- Synthesize, package and present secondary research findings according to the needs of the customer

- Understanding of key industry trends and challenges; the value chain and how product reaches market; company financial value drivers; key players; opportunities in developed and emerging markets; and consumer trends.

- Good knowledge of secondary databases required.
