Department Profile

The Payment Services Utility (PSU) manages the Group's messaging, screening, payment transaction and payment investigationinfrastructures and the operations and change functions related to them.Data Services, within the PSU, is asmall x-functional team combining the operational, technical and change expertise necessary to build, run and govern solutions in support of the Group's payments datarequirements

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to provide business project management support for a portfolio of data projects. Particular focus will be on establishing a self-service capability on the payments data lake to remove the need to share / transfer sensitive payment information around the Group.The data projects will comprise all elements of the data life cycle from data acquisition, data management, data transformation, data distribution through to data consumption solutions.

Principal Accountabilities

- Managing end to end delivery of payment data solutions

- Establishing a self-service capability on the payments data lake

- Stakeholder management and communications

- Portfolio planning and reportingin line with Group standards

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

- Successful track record of planning and executing portfolio of projects

- Experience working with stakeholders / partners to understand requirements

- Experience working with Technology, Operations and Change teams in translating requirements into solution definition and execution

- Payments domainand technology knowledge / expertise e.g. SWIFT

- Experience in big data, data analytics and MI

- Experience in relevant technologies, e.g. Hadoop

- Experience in working with external technology and software vendors

- Role relevant qualifications, e.g. a degree, is desirable

- Effective at building networks internally and externally

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Excellent understanding of financial crime risk management and proven experience of compliance with relevant standards and regulations
