Role Objective: -
To be the owner of the overall business plan across the entire company. Works with every function (marketing, supply, product, engineering, finance, HR etc.) to understand expectations for the coming weeks/months/quarters/years, and how we plan on achieving them. The output of this is an overall model and set of roadmaps for different teams.
Responsibilities: -
- Own building the corporate model for growth; requires working directly with all business leads to understand the details of their plans and how they impact the overall business from every perspective.
- Own adherence to the corporate model for growth; track progress against the model and plans, identify opportunities to improve growth, and justify all spends in the business (investments in marketing, head count, etc.).
Skills & Qualifications: -
- MBA from a Tier-I B-school.
- Deeply analytical mindset with the ability to understand the qualitative aspects of all figures impacting the business.
- Has spent minimum 2 years in a top-tier investment bank or management consulting group.
- Ability to work cross functionally, and get various stakeholders aligned on a shared vision and shared metrics.
- Comfortable with confrontation and holding ground; must be able to push back against senior leaders and push for aggressive but realistic goals.
