The overall purpose of role :

This role is instrumental in supporting Central BP&A to deliver a best-in-class MI and Analysis around Business Units. Responsible for enhancing existing processes, reporting and controls whilst ensuring the flawless execution of BAU. Driving through efficiencies and process improvements standardizing processes across SBU's where possible

Key Accountabilities :

MTP delivery :

- Assist with the delivery of Board/ExCo quality output materials to deliver key messages and support decision making at the most senior level

- Support the enhancement of the strategic management processes, specifically over key performance indicators (KPIs), short term plan (STP) and medium term plan (MTP)), reducing workload that does not contribute to effective decision making or robust planning

- Provide appropriate and timely guidance and feedback to businesses regarding KPIs, MTP and STP

- Engage with the businesses and functional teams to co-ordinate, review and challenge their inputs (financial, non-financial) into the planning deliverables sent to key stakeholders (Group CEO/FD/FC, Executive / Finance / Risk Committees and to the Board)

Stress Test Delivery :

- Provide appropriate and timely guidance and feedback to businesses, ensuring timely and accurate delivery for all inputs from various functions for the stress test

- Assist with the data enrichment in collaboration with relevant functions, including adding additional lines in the systems if required

- Support with the production of the relevant analytical and sign off materials for senior management

- Ensure relevant systems are in place to support stress test activities

- Support the relevant governance, attestations, and sign-offs for a stress test with clear evidence of complying of all internal and external governance requirements

- Ensure all the follow-up queries from the regulators are answered swiftly and accurately

- Develop and maintain close, effective working relationships with Group functions and Business teams to ensure effective decision making without compromising Group P&ST remit/objectives

- Ensure effective engagement with clusters by weekly calls, facilitation session, one to one sessions and leveraging P&ST relationship management model

Stakeholder Management and Leadership :

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and understanding their requirements for effective execution

- Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, pro-active and a team player.

- The desire to provide top quality service to internal stakeholders from different areas of the firm /geographies

- Ability to negotiate and influence senior management across the businesses

- Build strong partnerships across the business with excellent stakeholder management

Decision-making and Problem Solving :

It involves strong interpersonal skills and regular interaction with senior stakeholder. The jobholder is required to possess the analytical ability. Should be able to process and interpret huge datasets and present filtered relevant information to the business head.
