Job Purpose:
- To manage and maximise agency leader recruitment/business by driving Agency Zonal Managers, Agency Managers and initiate strategic and tactical interventions
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Responsible for driving Business Mentor (Variable Agency) Sales for Pan India
- Identify, Build and execute robust geographical expansion strategy
- Liaison with Agency-ZM, RMs and AMs to drive AL GWP and recruitment on a regular basis and sales target ownership
- Focus on building a large sustainable book of Agency Leaders, business and base of agents
- Responsible for tracking performance on a regular basis and plan necessary strategic and tactical interventions
- Travel to various locations to do a status check, interaction with Top Agency Leaders and important prospects
- Allocation of targets among different team members and driving performance against the same
- Responsible for hygiene of business sourced by the branch
Knowledge / Experience / Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and a thoughtful, persuasive personal style
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and operational owners through well-articulated strategies backed up with metric driven value statements
- Ability to develop, test and validate hypotheses. Should be competent at analysing both quantitative and qualitative data
- Should have excellent analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Additionally, experience in a corporate strategy role would be an added advantage
Graduated from a Tier-1 business school
- Experience in insurance - 6-7 years in managing Sales / Business Development
- Should have handled a team of - 20 people (Direct + Indirect)
