We have following opening with our client into Freight Forwarding based out of Delhi & Mumbai.
Position: Business Manager : Sales & Business Development
Job Location: Mumbai & Delhi
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving the pre-determined sales target and bringing various sale plans in logistics, air freight, sea freight, air and surface cargo.
- Analyzing business potential, conceptualizing & executing strategies to drive sales and achieving desired targets.
- Exploring new markets and initializing business with them.
- Conducting meetings for setting up sales objectives and designing or streamlining processes to ensure smooth functioning of sales operations.
- Building and strengthening relationships; thereby ensuring high customer satisfaction by providing complete product support and achieving delivery & service quality norms.
Core competencies :
- Speaking/writing fluently in English and local language
- Proven ability to win new business
- Extensive product knowledge
- Financial/ Commercial acumen

- Market/ Geography knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skill
- Ability to develop strong long term business relationship

Education :
- Any Graduate
- Post Graduation: Degree in Business Management shall be preferred
Experience :
Proven track record of success for at least 5 years in a multinational/big organization (s) with the responsibility of sourcing freight business and managing major accounts
