Business Manager- performance marketing, Amazon Marketing Services for FMCG brands (beauty, foods)
- Work with Media team, Brand teams & Team management for strategic planning
- Guide and monitor Associates/Analysts across the teams on tactical implementation in line with the strategic goals
- Focus will be around solving eCommerce / DTC / Digital commerce business challenges through well planned and effective strategies, improving conversion and digital experience of brands on eCommerce marketplaces and own direct to consumer websites to enhance their search ability and drive through to conversion. The mission is to be relevant, discoverable and drive efficiencies right down to the point of purchase
- Build a successful KPI driven specific e-commerce & DTC strategy
- Demonstrate thought leadership by developing and presenting industry/market research findings, eCommerce & DTC trends, eCommerce & DTC growth areas, new models to consider and relevant commerce case studies
- With the direct or indirect team, ensure all deliverables within the eCommerce SOW (marketplaces, e-retailer websites and DTC) agreed with the Marico teams are completed
- Develop an annual plan and accelerate strategy for growing the eCommerce business
- Work with other teams to upskill and productize offering
- Deliverables include but are not limited to:
- Manage Marico expectations and grow product offering through out of scope work
- Develop content strategy in accordance with established brand and commerce guidelines
- Develop other value add-ons (rating and reviews, business intelligence, etc.)
- Own overall brand & function goals across teams, also own team KPIs and monitor & manage the teams performance
- Work with Brand & Media managers on monthly & quarterly planning
- Drive experiments and new initiatives across brands
- Help identify and improve daily processes & systems across teams
- Plan & execute strategies across the paid media platforms for business growth
- Be a champion on Google, FB, Programmatic & other paid media platforms to drive performance campaigns sharply to improve conversions on DTC or ecommerce or both
- Co-lead monthly and quarterly reviews with platforms, marketplaces and brand teams
Strong analytical skills as well as experience in applying those skills in the advertising domain
- Experience in running programmatic campaigns using DBM and other platforms
- Understand the commerce ecosystem on non-self-serve platforms and drive data driven strategies on increasing value from the investments made on those platforms
- Drive automation and using third party tools to drive efficiencies across the advertising ecosystem
Team player, and ability to work under pressure
