Our client offers a payment solution that enables a Buy now, Pay later product for frequent online purchasers with a credit term of 14 days. This not only removes the hassle of entering credit card details repeatedly but also allows consumers to buy items in bulk and settle the payment when they have time on their hands.
Their primary focus is to leverage data science to solve real-life challenges in eCommerce. The company was founded in December 2015 and its operations are based out of Mumbai. The founders of the company include alumnus of IITs and IIMs who have extensive experience in Finance and Consulting with companies like Accenture, Barclays, ICICI, etc.
Some prominent brands that have allied with them to offer this solution to customers include PVR, IRCTC - Indian Rail, Industrybuying.com, Tolexo, Crownit, etc.
As a Business Manager- Partnerships, you will be responsible for establishing the company as a strategic partner and driving the sales cycle to fruition.
What you will do :
- Prospecting for potential business partnerships basis market research, industry trends etc.
- Maintaining CRM discipline by ensuring the sales funnel information is accurately and timely recorded in the system
- Developing strong relationships with senior management and signing off on well-articulated and documented roadmap for the partnership
- Creating mechanisms for effectively tracking the engagement post sign off
- Communicating the relevant partnership details to other team members thus enabling them to perform their role towards achieving the business goals
- Recording documentation in an easy to locate, search and report manner or as per laid down process
Candidate Profile :
What you need to have :
- MBA from Tier I institute or equivalent
- 3+ years of business development or consulting experience in FMCG sector
- Ability to multitask and manage portfolio of sales engagements of varied kinds
- Data driven approach towards building business case
- Ability to simplify complex propositions and to articulate with conviction
- Taking ownership and driving results
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Deep knowledge of products, processes and principles
- Non- negotiable approach on ethics and other company values
- Demonstrated history of thought leadership and business transformation
