Business Manager
Position Function/Purpose - Selling Wide Format range of products through channel partners and Government tenders
Education and Experience :
- Minimum Graduate, MBA is preferred.
- Around 8 years experience of which around 4-6 years channel sales experience in IT (hardware)/OA/Printers/Wide Format Printer Industry.
- Person should be working for a mid size organization, preferably IT, which has good systems and processes.
Other Information :
- Excellent communication and articulation skills required.
- Professional outlook and personality
- Work involves considerable cross functional interaction, hence excellent relationship orientation
- Job involves extensive travelling.
Job Duties :
Channel Management :
- Channel expansion - Identification, selection of partners as per specifications and business plan.
- Responsible for channel health- productivity, attrition, growth, compliance.
- Effective usage of Partners Portal.
- Task communication and secondary sales review of existing partners.
Partners :
- Retention of partners and aiding partners with sales calls as and when required.
- Forecasting.
- Product training for partner staff.
- Ensuring smooth operations with partner staff for all operational activities like liquidation of partner stock and coordination for partner claims etc.
Business Development :
- Responsible for achieving targets for Sales, Revenue, Market Share and Value Shift for Wide Format Imaging Products in the region.
- Responsible for weak market development and special thrust areas on specific product lines as per business plan.
- Responsible that the sales staff of the channel partners are trained for developing business. BTL activities
- Communicating marketing schemes and company policies to partner
- Ensuring stock availability at partners end
- Competition tracking
- Managing collections
Market Development :
- Calendar and plan marketing programs at regional level for partner's like- road shows, channel meets, exhibitions, local campaigns.
- Executing the marketing programs as per plan and budget.
Reporting :
- Track market situation and competition activities.
- Prepare daily sales plan and reporting on sales activities
