Job Description: Business Manager - Cloud Practice
Overview : We are looking for a Business Manager who will develop and manage a cloud practice for Cloud solutions.
- You will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our cloud offerings, as well as overseeing the delivery, quality, and profitability of our cloud projects.
- You will also lead and mentor a team of cloud architects, engineers, consultants, and sales professionals, and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a business plan for the cloud practice, including market analysis, value proposition, revenue targets, and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cloud partners, and leverage their resources and support to create competitive advantages and win new business.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud projects, from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring that they meet the customer's requirements, budget, and timeline, and adhere to the best practices and standards of cloud architecture, security, and governance.
- Monitor and report on the performance and profitability of the cloud practice, and identify and resolve any issues or risks that may affect the quality, scope, or cost of the projects.
- Recruit, train, and retain a team of high-performing cloud professionals, and provide them with the guidance, feedback, and tools they need to succeed and grow in their roles.
- Promote a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the cloud practice, and encourage the team to explore new technologies, solutions, and methodologies that can enhance our cloud capabilities and offerings.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's / master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Overall 12-15 years, out of which at least 2-3 years of experience in managing and delivering cloud projects, preferably using Cloud solutions .
- At least 3 years of experience in leading and developing a team of cloud professionals, including architects, engineers, consultants, and sales.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, technologies, and trends, and the ability to translate them into business value and solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, from technical to executive level.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and profitability goals, and delivering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Certifications in Microsoft/ AWS/GCP Cloud solutions or other cloud platforms are highly desirable
