Business Manager - Business Intelligence & Analytics - Transportation/Logistics

Responsibilities:

- As a Business Manager, the candidate will be responsible for leading the Transportation business intelligence & analytics teams . Provide day to day leadership including training, coaching, providing feedback & development of team members

- Work closely with transportation business teams (planning, imports, domestic, non-retail supply chain and global trade) to understand & deliver reporting & analytical priorities. Establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers to drive strategic business initiatives

- Provide functional leadership (SME) for global & domestic (U.S.) transportation/logistics related processes. Build deep functional expertise in the team in transportation/logistics related processes

- Provide technical leadership & build best in class data, reporting & analytical capabilities for transportation/logistics functions.

- Project management tasks include (but not limited to) defining project scope, assisting with requirements collection, providing analysis/development plans, working closely with US teams during execution of projects, and ensuring on-time delivery of and quality of projects

- Establish and maintain clear communication between with various stakeholders regarding project scope, timelines, issue resolution, and deliverables

- Ensure all projects are fully documented (objective, requirements, analysis plan, technical design, results, support, training, etc.)

- Manage the progress and prioritization of multiple projects for multiple team members in a dynamic, fast-moving environment in support of a transforming supply chain

Eligibility:

- Overall 10+ years of experience with significant experience in leading business intelligence & analytics efforts utilizing modeling tools – JDA TMod, Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru

- 5+ years of experience in working with transportation/logistics domain preferably for a retailer

- Any experience in statistical application development tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS) or operations research application development tools (e.g. AMPL, CPLEX etc.) or report development tools (e.g., Web-Focus, Micro-Strategy, SAS) would be preferred

- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous problem definitions and deliver impactful solutions through logical problem solving and technical ideations

- Excellent communications skills with proven track record to manage multiple stakeholder groups in a global & matrix setting

- Proven project management successes, including balancing multiple projects and differing project priorities

- Proven capability to lead team members, including personal development, work direction, and creating a Fast Fun and Friendly team environment
