Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business development within Indian Subcontinent Region.
- Deliver aggressive business growth aspirations in the new market segments, geography, and customers with focus on Consultative Solution Sales.
- Interact with potential and existing customers and expand the customer base by mapping our presence with the various customers vis- vis the market. Discover and develop customers from market platform to buying platform.
- Manage and Drive Distributors through effective Channel Management to drive business goals.
- As Senior team member, work closely with team to lead and translate business goals into execution plan
- Create revenue strategies, account plans and business processes for dedicated account management.
- Assist Managing Director in strategizing and for developing the target markets and grow business in chosen spheres.
- Provide necessary inputs on competition & their offerings through good market intelligence.
- Work closely with inside sales / presales for continuously improving responses, sales collaterals and other aspects influencing effective sales.
- Effectively advise and influence the customer especially within the development of business needs, decision criteria, through consultative selling techniques and relevant marketing / sales campaign.
- Execute high quality of discussions to demonstrate strengths utilizing influencing skills.
- Proactively prospect in the identified markets to create opportunities. Map out the key players for potential new business initiatives and determine appropriate sales strategy.
- Understand opportunities of cross sell and upsell of other product / services offerings with prospects.
- Drive Product Group and End Use Category penetration in the nascent market to expand the market
to advantage.
- Coordinate with Overseas Counterparts to bring Innovations and best practices in the business.
- Understanding the market for new segments emerging in India including deep understanding of
competition.
Functional Responsibilities :
- Responsible for key initiatives and improve customer relationships.
- Work with improvement of Position with specific customers.
- Arrange regular training & promotional programs with the customers.
- 12+ years of post-qualification, B2B Sales, and Business Development experience.
- Demonstrated ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems and demonstrate proposed solutions.
- Strong business acumen and flair for working with numbers and developing strategy.
- Innovative, out of the box thinker with ability to interact and influence in a multi-culture environment.
- Excellent skills in encouraging and guiding motivated & talented employees
