- Acting as a central point of contact for day-to-day operations between contracted clients and F1000 sales and editorial teams.
- Working on internal and external data applications like Dimensions, Power BI, WOS, Scopus, Wisdom AI to analyzes, organize data in presentable format, creating an effective business pitch to prospects.
- Occasionally presenting F1000 publishing model during webinars and one-one discussions with prospects.
- Liaison with UK F1000 editorial and support teams for client support.
- Preparing business reports and updating business data on internal reporting applications.
- Liaison with Marketing team to plan promotion campaigns, webinars, and other effective ways of client engagement.
- Liaison with commission editors to explore business leads for F1000 platforms/gateways and open plus books.
- Developing and maintaining a detailed and upto date knowledge of industry standards and new developments in of Open Access publishing arena.
Qualifications :
- Knowledge and experience of academic research publishing.
- Ability to comprehend research articles and templates ( specifically the multiple research publishing formats offered by F1000 https://f1000research.com/for-authors/article-guidelines )
- Knowledge of Open Access Publishing and latest trends and Key OA publishing service providers and their models.
- Experience of account management or building effective working relationships with third parties.
- Experience of facilitation and conflict resolution.
- Project management skills.
- IT proficiency, particularly to use data applications, Excel & MS Office.
- Understanding of other specialist technology or systems as required by the specific role (desirable).
- Financial, industry and market awareness.
