We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Head of E-commerce who can head and develop our E-commerce business of connecting offline merchants to online and driving business to them. We are looking for someone with vision, ambition and a lot of passion.
Your role will mainly to develop our the following :
- Understand our core markets deeply at several levels - competition, technology, go-to-market, pricing, buyer and user personas, and analyst coverage.
- Understand and prioritize potential projects from various inputs (user research, business wish list, etc.) so the team is always working on the most High impact projects.
- Be strongly data-driven in understanding product usage, measuring success and failure of different features and adapting product to meet the needs of customers in the most optimal way possible.
- Led the team to on-board retailers to come online and also work with large brands
- Support the marketing team to drive traffic across platform with key defined metrics in terms of conversion.
- Increasing web traffic and driving online sales and re-strategizing all digital channel management
- Creating huge growth in customers, sales and satisfaction.
- Leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Be the key driver in developing and optimizing the performance and digital brand marketing of the E-commerce platform.
- Deliver a strategic approach in driving ongoing traffic and promotions to generate sales revenues and build brand awareness across different markets
- Be responsible for the P and L for the venture.
- Drive operations for the project with teams in cataloging, on-boarding, customer support, customer success .
- Define quantitative and qualitative success metrics
- Be strongly data-driven in understanding product usage, measuring success and failure of different features and adapting product to meet the needs of customers in the most optimal way possible.
- Efficiently and effectively see projects through from planning to deployment by managing projects and facilitating communication between all the involved parties. Reliably involve and manage third parties.
- Work with engineering to plan and track features and releases, be plugged in into sprint execution on a regular basis and own and execute on product deliverables in an agile development environment.
- Work closely with marketing and sales on product definitions, pricing, and segmentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 10+ years of experience
- At least 2+ years of leadership experiences required.
- You must have experience of running a Marketplace or last mile delivery company.
- You are a person who thrives in a fast moving environment with a heavy dose of ambiguity.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Prefer Strong technical background with 4+ years of prior experience building, launching and scaling products at high-growth startups You- re entrepreneurial- you're self-driven and you don- t need direction.
- Be able to easily switch between thinking creatively and analytically.
- Have an understanding of Commerce and/or Mobile Product
- Strategic thinking, deep technical background, awesome interpersonal skills, and a passion for technology are also highly desired.
- You have perfect English. Working knowledge of Arabic is a definite plus.
- You are extremely organized and have the ability to prioritize, to work to tight deadlines. You enjoy multitasking.
