Who are we looking for?
You, as a Product Marketing Head is expected to expand our reach and customers. You will work closely with the Brand Head and cross-functional team to achieve financial growth and profitability of the brand.
You will be responsible for leading and contributing to campaigns that drive revenue growth. Someone who will report directly to the Founders and be responsible for the development and management of broad-based marketing programs, implementation, and results. You will also manage marketing efforts for awareness, lead generation, web-site development, content curation/creation, and sales collateral.
What will you be doing?
- Develop the brand promotion strategies for the company by identifying opportunities and campaigns to increase website traffic, revenue, sales, and retention.
- Oversee marketing lead generation.
- Set the budget every quarter for marketing spend with VP of Finance and Admin
- Provide short- and long-term market forecasts, reports, and trends to assist business development in the acquisition of clients
- Perform industry and competitive analysis to inform the sales process and help to position and messaging. Monitor market intelligence and keep track of competitor movement and market situation.
- Perform ongoing tracking and reporting on marketing initiatives through the CRM system
- Lead product launches with creative campaigns across channels. Develop and execute marketing plans that may include PPC, email campaigns, participation in industry conferences and events, webinars, and website updates
- Work with Brand and Digital Marketing teams to develop engaging content for specific website pages. Understand current SEO/PR/SEM/Affiliate channels and then improve on metrics and impacts
- Collaborate with professional bodies and partner organizations to create a database for new clients
- Work with PR and Social Media Manager to develop social media content for B2B audiences.
What will you need?
- Experience in building strategy of minimum 5yrs.
- A leader who can command and lead the entire department
- Demonstrated success within B2B/B2C marketing
- Master's degree in Marketing/Communications from a top-tier business school
- Strong understanding of excel and analytics along with data mining
- Outstanding communication skills to provide direction and feedback for creative and analytical components of the Marketing department.
- Collaborative as well as independent manager - a flexible approach
- Agile and flexible for the start-up environment and to work with a global/diverse team
- Prior experience in E-Commerce and/or consumer Internet is highly preferred but not required; we will highly consider an upcoming marketing leader in India's Internet ecosystem or a second in command marketing leader in leading E-Commerce companies
- Dynamic, motivating, and entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines. Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn
- Must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
