We are currently looking for a Business Lead for License Merchandise and eCommerce business - In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy for eCommerce business. You will need to have strong managerial and team building skills, a strategic bent of mind, excellent commercial and negotiation skills, be digitally savvy, above all a strong sense of initiative and accountability for the success of this business - You will need to understand the new age eco-system of data, digital and content and able to craft the newer disciplines seamlessly into the offering, requiring you to collaborate closely with Product and Technology to ensure the optimum customer experience across discovery, search, personalisation, assortment and price Reporting of the role: This role reports to the SVP Marketing and BI In this role, your goals will be: In few Initial months - Establish a detailed GTM strategy - which would include identifying target market segments, product assortment including Licensed + Private label mix, supply chain &amp; operations framework, channel distribution strategy, brand &amp; product launch planning, competitive &amp; growth marketing strategy - along with a roadmap for the next 12/24/36 months on brand / category introductions - Get business plan and investments approved - Finalize key roles needed to be staffed and initiate screening and hiring process - Understand data and gather learnings from the BMS eCommerce V1.0 launch - Initiate conversations with key licensing partners as well as other supply partners - Finalize and get agreement on technology and product MVP specs What you'll bring: - High integrity while maintaining positive, open relationships - Show a depth of understanding of the licensed and branded merchandise industry especially in the apparel and accessory categories - Strong execution focused mindset, ensuring a commitment to continuous learning and improvement - Sound understanding of fundamental business principles and good practice and perceives issues in both financial and -commercial terms - Highly passionate, collaborative, creative leader and thinker - Strong presentation and communication skills - Highly articulate, story-telling capability - Acute inquisitiveness and demonstrate an entrepreneur's mindset Minimum qualifications: - 12-15 years of total work experience, with minimum 4-5 years as a buyer/ merchandiser across apparel/ toys/ accessories categories. - 4-5 years in a strategic planning / business leadership role along with clear revenue/ P&amp;L responsibilities. - Direct eCommerce apparel experience will be a definitive added advantage
