Home Interiors Business Lead
- MBA with 10+ years of experience across sales, business development, relationship management or product management.
- 6+ years of work experience in interiors domain with a leading interior or furnishing company.
- Trailblazing record in setting up successful partnerships, maintaining key accounts & ensuring profitability for the company.
- Should have managed relationships with leading interior design companies and holds a long-term connection with them.
- Growth mindset with financial acumen to analyse business requirements and propose customized solution. Able to work in unstructured environment.
- Experience in leading teams across multiple regions within India
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Business Planning:
- Prepare B2B business plan for delivery of finalized AOP in consultation with the business head, covering projections, focus and execution strategy.
- Participate in business reviews with cross functional teams.
- Review business metrics and numbers.
- Review financial performance parameters and P&L contributors.
2. Business and Sales Execution & Review:
- Cascade the monthly AOP targets to own team and get buy in of the team on the target.
- Evaluate performance of sales teams.
- Review daily logins across markets and productivity at manager level.
- Visit the various project locations to review the performance of own team and understand on ground challenge, monitor deviations from set targets and provide course correction inputs.
3. Business Development with Suppliers:
- Strengthen relationships with leading interiors companies (Pan India) to optimize commitment of business volume, negotiate pay-out structures and reach targeted business volumes.
- Wherever required, should analyse and create partnerships at local level in line with micromarket demand.
- Keep a view of the competitors in the market.
4. Developer BD & Relationships:
- Engage with elite developers, develop / create new relationships with developers and project teams and create business opportunities.
- Scan for market intelligence, potential opportunities to propose packaged/customized interiors keeping in mind the demand and supply metrics.
- Establish organisation's presence and influence developers with organisation value/ business proposition.
5. Team development:
- Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent.
- Cascade objectives, establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team.
- Identify and create development opportunities, training, induction sessions, etc. for team members to enhance functional/ business knowledge.
