Job Summary:
The Business Lead will be responsible for overseeing the overall business operations, driving growth, and implementing strategic initiatives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fashion industry, particularly in the women's wear segment, and a proven track record in managing and scaling a D2C brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Set ambitious yet achievable goals and ensure the team is aligned and motivated to meet them.
Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage supply chain, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
- Implement operational processes and systems to improve productivity and scalability.
Sales and Marketing:
- Drive the sales strategy to increase market share and customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine product offerings and marketing strategies.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across various functions.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
- Ensure clear communication of business objectives and performance expectations.
Financial Management:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure fiscal health.
- Monitor financial performance and implement measures to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Manage cost structures and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Product Development and Merchandising:
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to create a compelling product line.
- Ensure that product development aligns with brand vision and market demand.
- Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability and customer value.
Customer Experience:
- Champion a customer-centric approach to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the customer experience.
