Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced BI Engineer to join our team. This candidate will be responsible for migrating our legacy Dashboard and Data Extracts to Microstrategy grid reports and Dashboards. The ideal candidate is an experienced BI Engineer who enjoys building data model from the ground up and optimizing them. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the reporting needs of multiple teams, systems and products.

Responsibilities for BI Engineer :

- Create and maintain optimal data models in Microstrategy.

- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

- Migrate legacy BizNav reports to Microstrategy Data Extracts.

- Migrate legacy OBIE Dashboards to Microstrategy Documents/Dossier.

- Work with Multiple stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams across the organization to Identify new reporting needs and build the Data

Mapping documents and reports to meet their needs.

- Work with cross functional team to integrate Microstrategy to customer facing web Portals (DRCC & DR Dashboard).

- Work on the custom Security within Microstrategy to manage user/roles & permissions.

Qualifications for BI Engineer :

- Should have 5+ years of hands on experience on Microstrategy.

- Extensive experience in developing Microstrategy Reports, Cubes, Advanced Dashboards & visualizations, Performance optimization, Grid Reports, Documents, Dossiers and SDK (optional).

- Hands on experience in writing Microstrategy Freeform SQLs with complex joins.

- Extensive knowledge in development, testing, debugging in Microstrategy applications.

- Developing effective data models. Work with ETL team to define the data model.

- Should be able to implement complex analytical solutions which access data from multiple sources.

- Developing front end reporting applications using MSTR technology.

- Experience in design, data modeling, and providing estimation for development/migration projects.

- Excellent Problem Solving and Communication Skills.

- Good knowledge and experience in DW & BI Concepts.

- Working experience on a development project in Agile.
