The candidate is expected to:
- Deep understanding of CPG industry business performance outputs and causal measures, their relationships, and how to address business questions in robust way that translates to simple outputs.
- Very strong analytical thinking with proven ability to connect data & insight from category consumption, brands drivers, macro & micro trends, and future forces of consumer change and deliver clear implications for the business. Proactively brings forward external inspiration and new approaches to insights.
- Should be able to articulate how insights/research learning can improve businesses impact and frames up reporting efforts and opportunities to inform business decisions.
- Shares detailed analysis/insights/deep dives looking at data through different lenses - penetration, pricing, innovation, opportunity identification, promotion, market study, competitive space, etc.
- Experienced in data analysis based on multiple data supplier solutions (Numerator, Nielsen, Kantar)
- MUST have in depth knowledge in both POS and HH panel data and should be able to use Nielsen RMS, CPS tools to analyze data.
