Business Head - Unsecured Loans (Bank/NBFC)

- Opportunity to head the entire P&L for Unsecured Business Loan portfolio of a Top Financial Services firm.
Strategic Leadership:
- Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of unsecured loan products, ensuring they meet market needs while maintaining profitability and risk control.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and ensure competitive positioning.
Business Development & Growth:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for unsecured loans, including pricing, marketing, and distribution strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive demand generation, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
- Monitor loan performance, assess delinquency trends, and develop actionable insights to minimize credit risk and optimize the loan portfolio.
- Implement effective collections strategies to reduce Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and ensure timely recovery of dues.
- Work closely with the technology and operations teams to implement digital solutions that enhance loan processing times, improve customer onboarding, and reduce costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and other business metrics to ensure that operational targets are met.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching to team members.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes in the loan origination and servicing processes.
- Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to mitigate any potential legal or regulatory risks.
- Strong understanding of the Indian lending market, particularly in unsecured business loans, and the associated regulatory environment.
- Proven track record of driving portfolio growth, managing risk, and improving profitability in unsecured loan products.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision making abilities.
- Excellent understanding of credit risk management, loan origination, collections, and recovery processes.
- Data-driven approach with a deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results.
