Deliverables / purpose of Job: -
- To develop and maintain sales of Pure gold Jewellers store & to obtain top line growth and profit contribution to achieve business objectives & plans
Key Accountabilities:-
- Have the strategic function of developing sales. To build business, they form special relationships with their company’s customers. They may establish strategic partnerships and are always seeking to build the loyalty & satisfaction of customer and work to achieve set goals of Sales
- He will work closely with top management when new products are launched, they see to their promotion and commercialization. They are also the ones who provide salespeople with practical and technical information.
- He is responsible for the results of their sales staff. His role is to ensure salesperson performance, implement assessments and propose training as required.
- Mange and interact with retail cross-functional departments (HR, Merchandising, Retail Teams) to ensure their department initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
- Demonstrate commitment to the “Pure Gold” brand core values and lead the team and business in accordance with the same
- He keeps a close eye on inventory at each location under their supervision. They must have a thorough knowledge of the merchandise their stores are selling and how to best go about moving merchandise.

Educational Qualification & Experience:-
- Graduate, and if has a Diploma in Sales & marketing or in business management then an advantage
- Proficiency in marketing, promotion and sales processes
- In-depth knowledge of products on the market
- 15 to 20 yrs
Duties & Responsibilities:-
A) Store Operations:
- Oversee day to day operations of the Pure Gold Stores across all stores and identify, plan and executes area for improvement to ensure customers understand and receive the full “Pure Gold” Brand experience in all stores.
- Develops and implements in-store programs designed around industry best practices to increase efficiency in operational and Brand excellence.
- Responding to customer complaints and comments.
- Touring the sales stores talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues. Review compliance of operational efficiency & SOP’s in stores.
- All Operational Issues related to stores.
- Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
- Planning & Approving Monthly plan of trips for Area Managers
- Visual Merchandising displays, windows & maintenance of a high-end store Image.
B) New Stores/Vendor Management: Monitor Operations Department.
- Initialization of new stores.
- Responsible for Vendor management & Negotiate with vendors and building a strong demand supply chain.
- Monitoring Snagging works of existing stores.
- Coordinating with Merchandisers for Props & Packaging & VM of Stores (Seasonal & Regular).
- Managing contractors for new store fit outs with negotiating on BOQ with implementation of new Stores and fit outs.
- Including Store set Up, Visiting new store locations for with giving market report of the new properties visited.
- Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
- And any other activities that Management may direct from time to time.
C) Marketing and Promotion:
- Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
- Development & implementation of BTL Plan for each store
- Special action plan development & implementation & action plan for underperforming stores.
- Analyzing latest marketing trends and tracking competitors’ activities and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning sales & marketing strategies.
- Coordinating with external agencies & Advertising, PR etc.
D) Merchandising:
- Merchandise requirements of for the existing stores as well as the upcoming stores and coordination & updating CM & Group CEO on the same.
- Evaluate and recommend products brands and modifications or improvements for each line based on findings of market research, customer requirement, historical trends and competition.
- Understand various brands of Pure Gold.
- Closely monitoring with supervising execution by understanding & taking on an active role in planning the Merchandise Mix with the Merchandising Head.
E) Human Resource Management:
- Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers;
- Managing the Sales Teams under the Area Managers -Day to day monitoring & evaluation of store sales performance.
- Evaluating requirements for the existing stores & upcoming stores.
- Plan and lead the team to ensure all positions in the region are staffed with exceptional leaders.
- Provide meaningful feedback through active performance management and ensure sustained improvement, to monitor & identify challenges in real time scenario and recommend methods to overcome the same
- Attend to Police Calls and Alarms at all times 24*7.
F) IT:-
- Monitor that IT Policy is been followed at store level.
- Maintain and report on store equipment/requirements and coordinate with designated agency for repair/maintenance work.
