Opening for Business Head - Steel
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Single threaded ownership for building a comprehensive managed marketplace solution for SMBs, owning the category objectives for the identified category(ies).
- Driving a 3-5 year product roadmap for their products
- Ownership of sub-category level revenue and P&L.
- Own GTM plan for the products- solutions including- customer acquisition, engagement, sales roll out, pricing & packaging etc.
- Sales capacity planning and sales funnel management along with Sales Ops for the set of products- solutions offerings
- Formulate GTM Strategy and goals for set of products - including but not limited to creating a compelling value proposition, Positioning, Communication, Onboarding and delivery.
- Build required partnerships and alliances for sourcing of the product offerings.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
What we seek for this role?
- 8-10 years of experience in category management or B2B sales dealing in raw materials (like steel, chemicals, cement). Experience working with B2B / e-com platform is an added advantage
- Experience working (and building) digital products and extensive focus on customer service
- Experience in GTM planning to driving revenue from the product
- Ability to see the bigger picture, with a proven record to use customer-centric, data-driven insights to drive decisions that lead to superior product and customer experience-
- Effective in a highly matrixed, distributed and fast-moving environment
- High degree of self-starting initiative and organization
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate future needs and drive results.
- High level of organization focus and ability to work under pressure
Following would be considered a plus for candidates:
- Entrepreneurial and business owner mindset (start-up experience a big plus)
- Experience with tech tools required for your products
