Business Head - Skills Development

- Business plan formulation for Skill Development in various domains

- Project Proposal preparation for submission to various government departments

- Liaising with government department

- Overall management and execution of the projects

- Ensure proper implementation of project, continuous technical upgrade of the training programs.

- Network /Channel partner strategy and acquisitions

- Identification, motivation, mobilization and selection of suitable trainees for skill development programs in coordination with the National bodies associated with the organization.

- Meeting Revenue and Collection Targets

- Relationship building and acquiring new contracts with various govt departments / Ministry and exploring business opportunities with them.

- Work closely with various central ministries with funding for skill development/ vocational education (eg MORD, NSDC, NULM etc).

- Work with various State government ministries for skill development projects in the respective states ( eg. Rural and Panchayat Ministry, Urban development ministry, Minority Welfare etc.)

- Build & sustain robust relations, liaise with all State and Central funding agencies.

- Manage various State governments and ensure sustained business.

- Setting up of skill development centres as per the project requirement and ensuring smooth implementation of each project as per designed SOP Respond to technical proposals.

- Interact with various government officials for tender specification and also for negotiation, addressing issues.

- Build a pipeline of projects.

Qualification And Experience:

1. Candidate having exposure in various skill development projects pan India will be preferred & & Min. 8 years of experience in skill development sector-NGOs, Corporate Foundations.

2. Possess sound knowledge about priorities of the national rural livelihood mission and various state rural livelihood missions.

3. Should have experience of leading multiple project portfolios especially in Skill development & Rural Livelihood Projects.

4. Positive attitude and high energy

5. Maturity and emotional balance

6. Tact and sensitivity to the needs of others

7. Strong influencing skills

8. Decision Making & Problem Solving Ability

9. Demonstrable ability to work well in a team

10. Adaptable, flexible, proactive and innovative.

11. High level of professionalism in conduct

12. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
