Position Overview:.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Retail domain Store Ops and BD.
- Regional Manager or City Head level.
- The Business Head Sales & BD will lead the sales and business development efforts, driving revenue growth and expanding the company's market presence.
- This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong track record in sales and business development, capable of managing large teams and developing high-impact strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales and business development strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and growth objectives.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales and business development team.
- Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members.
Market Analysis and Business Intelligence:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure performance.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the negotiation and closing of major deals and contracts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales Operations Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of sales plans, including territory management, sales forecasting, and budgeting.
- Implement and optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support, to align efforts and achieve common goals.
- Represent the sales and business development function in executive meetings and contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
