Business Head - Real Estate

Job brief:

We are looking for an experienced Business Head, who is responsible for the success of the organization, leading the development and execution of long-term strategies with the goal of increasing shareholder value through the effective delivery of the Projects.

Duties and key responsibilities:

- Assist the Board of Directors in setting strategic goals, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures to enhance its market share, profitability, and return on investment.

- Providing market and industry updates to Stakeholders on new trends, products, and laws pertaining to real estate.

- Maintain and enhance the brand equity of the Real Estate Division by acting as a representative at prominent forums and platforms

PROJECT EXECUTION: Responsible for Execution of projects through:

1. Project monitoring, Value engineering, Procurement, planning & budgeting, cost monitoring, product quality consciousness, safety, estimation, etc.

2. Responsible for supporting in successful delivery on time and within agreed cost budgets.

3. Tendering and execution of the project within time and contractual parameters and closure

4. Ensure optimum utilization of resources

5. Management of Architects, Local/International, Consultants, Vendors, and Co-ordination for project approvals with statutory authorities and other Departments within the organization

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:

1. Develop, in coordination with the Executive Management Team, an integrated business plan that optimizes market share and profitability of the project/projects

2. Set departments' high-level goals, objectives and plans and work with them on attaining such goals by closely monitoring their operations.

3. Periodically review and check the performance of the Executive Management Team and recommend remedial action and improvements.

4. Ensure promotion of a positive internal climate in which management development for succession is nurtured.

FINANCE & LEGAL:

1. Focus on cost efficiency and site-related cash flow management

2. Ensure all audits and compliance relating to Statutes and Regulations are in place.

3. Manage / settle litigation, disputes, settlements, cases, etc.

4. RERA Compliances

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA is preferred) or equivalent experience with a minimum of 15+ years of total experience.

- Proven leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset.

- Political awareness, professional expertise and financial orientation

- Self-starter and team spirit.

- Ability to source, select and develop talent to maintain the company's overall objectives.

- Strong interpersonal skills in communication, persuasion, negotiation, motivation, loyalty, and openness.

- Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
