Job Summary:

The Business Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Partial truckload business. This individual will leverage their expertise in building and scaling PTL operations from scratch to manage and optimize our operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing asset-light models and scaling businesses in the PTL sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and expansion of our PTL business.

- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization.

- Lead the execution of strategic initiatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

2. Operational Management:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of Partial truckload, including dispatch, routing, and delivery.

- Ensure operational efficiency, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to achieve operational targets.

3. Business Development and Partnerships:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and market presence.

- Foster strategic partnerships with vendors, carriers, and other stakeholders to enhance service offerings and capabilities.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the operations department.

- Recruit, train, and develop talent to support the growth and success of the PTL business.

Qualifications:

- Proven track record of success in building and scaling Partial truckload (PTL) businesses from scratch.

- Strong understanding of asset-light models and experience in managing operations without owning vehicles.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in Partial truckload.
