Business Head - P&L - Staffing Business
- The Business Head would be responsible for building a staffing business line for the company primarily focussed on Domestic Contract Staffing.
- The role would entail delivery, client servicing as well as business development.
- Must have a strong understanding of contract staffing business from an India perspective including rates, & compliances
- Develop, lead and execute strategies to foster positive associate relations and retention
- Work collaboratively with other managers and business units on human resource, operational and training issues. This includes communicating key initiatives to ensure that corporate objectives are clearly managed and understood by all associates
- Work with the Senior Vice President to oversee the daily operations for the department
- Oversight and facilitation of the staffing model including recruiting and working with managers to maximize resource utilization via cross-training, workforce optimization staff development, and/or resource sharing across teams
- Departmental resource for personnel management concerns (e. g., performance appraisals, day-to-day management concerns, etc.)
- Salary, operational budget, and expense management
- Business continuity planning and emergency response preparedness
- Corporate services, building services, and technology liaison
- Defining the priorities of the department with regards to client service, risk management and efficiency
- Oversight of event planning for purposes of team building and corporate citizenship
Qualification And Experience:
i. 15 Plus years of experience and must have been the business/delivery head for a temp or contract staffing company.
ii. Must have managed large teams including both recruiters as well as business development people. Must have handled large corporates as clients and have dealt at the CXO level
iii. Ability to write and close proposals
iv. Working knowledge of certain Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint, and Outlook
v. Ability to work in a team environment
vi. Detail-oriented
vii. Excellent organizational skills
viii. Self-motivated
ix. Superior written and verbal communication skills
