The Business Head will be responsible for sustaining and growing city's revenue with bottom-line ownership of City's P&L. It is senior leadership role accountable for strategy formulation, effective lead management, scaling city's operations and building a team with focus on customer centricity.
Location - Mumbai | Reports to CEO and Founder
Act as a P&L Leader for the city in terms of sales and growth: leverage resources & minimize costs to maintain a healthy P&L
Responsible for managing the city team from hiring and training new recruits to assigning targets, to mentoring, coaching as well as career planning for each member of the team
Provide timely performance feedback to team members and create programs for periodic training on sale techniques, pitching, negotiation, contracting, billing / invoicing and payment collection
Lead the sales team in mapping, tracking, meeting and delivery of new accounts and identifying new opportunities for city with focus on market penetration and revenue maximization
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and planning for the annual and quarterly business plan for the city: Lay down the roadmap for new account acquisition and ensure its execution
Monitor parameters in addition to total revenue such as product penetration, average revenue per person, closure %, conversion per product etc.
Maintain strong relationship with restaurant owners (Specifically Key Accounts of the City & Country) advising them on issues related to the market and offering solutions on the same
Sustain and grow the relationships which translate to a growth in revenue for the city
Liaise seamlessly with central teams to communicate and assign client requirements to various delivery heads
Create and maintain a culture of strong customer focus to maintain optimum service delivery to merchants in the city
Find further product requirements for maximizing commerce in the city and develop feedback loops for product enhancement
Maintain strong relationships with partners and be the face of the company in the business community
Mandatory Skills
- 3-5 years of work experience.
Prior Experience in SALES is a MUST CRITERIA
- 2 years of solid team hiring, building and management Experience is a MUST CRITERIA
- Good Education pedigree
Relevant Skills :
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and can multi-task
- Self-starters who can work with little or no direction in ambiguous environments
- A competent decision-maker with the ability to create and execute a strategic sales strategy plan for the region
- Good grip on numbers and data analysis
