- Develop and execute the business plan for the personal loans vertical in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Product Development:
- Innovate and design customer-centric personal loan products tailored for different customer segments. Oversee product pricing, features, and customer journeys to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Sales & Distribution:
- Lead the sales strategy for personal loans across various channels, including direct sales, digital platforms, and partnerships. Build and expand relationships with key distribution partners, including fintech, aggregators, and third-party affiliates.
Operations & Risk Management:
- Collaborate with the credit risk team to develop sound underwriting policies and ensure robust risk management frameworks.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Financial Performance & Reporting:
- Manage the P&L for the personal loans business, focusing on cost optimization and revenue growth.
Candidate Profile:
Educational Background:
- MBA/PGDM or equivalent from a reputed institution with a focus on Business, Finance, or related fields.
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a minimum of 5+ years in leadership roles within the personal loans or retail lending segment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a personal loan portfolio and driving business growth in an NBFC or bank.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the NBFC personal loans ecosystem, regulatory environment, and market trends.
- Experience in managing P&L, developing business strategies, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
