Business Head - New Lending Business

Our client is a fast-growing, scaled up fintech based in Bangalore, looking to expand into the unsecured lending space. Backed by prominent investors, the company is building a new vertical to transform the lending landscape, offering best in class solution and experience for customers across India. The role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact initiative in the dynamic fintech ecosystem.

Role : As the head of the new lending business, you will be responsible for building the unsecured lending, including managing full P&L responsibilities, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic visionary who can drive growth, build strong teams, and establish the company as a key player in the lending industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and scale the lending business from scratch.

- Manage end-to-end P&L responsibilities.

- Ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies.

- Lead strategy, growth, and team-building initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

- Tier 1 MBA from a top Indian institution.

- 15+ years of experience, with a strong background in lending, fintech, or financial services.

- Proven expertise in Unsecured Lending - P&L management, business building, and regulatory compliance.

- Experience in dealing with RBI, compliances and navigating regulatory landscapes is a must.

- Leadership experience with a track record of scaling businesses from inception.
