Job Description :
1. Conceptualizing and implementing the lending product(s).
2. Liaising with lenders like Banks, NBFCs and credit bureaus etc. and managing the business relationship.
3. Liaising with equity investors like PE/VC funds and HNIs for equity raise for the lending vertical.
4. Identifying and creating new business lending opportunities and partnerships. Responsible for the new initiatives, strategic alliances & partnerships pertaining to lending vertical.
5. Conceptualizing & designing personal loan to Micro SME lending products for merchants by classifying merchants in various segments, understanding their working capital needs and structuring customized products.
6. Developing a pipeline of value-added customer solutions to include customer experience, products, and service offerings.
7. Maintain a detailed and current understanding of the industry at SME & Micro Banking, current market structures, regulatory requirements and issues.
Profile :
- 10+ years of extensive knowledge of the lending business, loan documents and terminology and credit risk management.
- A certified professional degree in credit and analysis will be an added advantage
- Strong lending background in MFI or NBFCs only with a knack for working with concrete data
- The candidate must have experience in conceptualizing and implementing lending product. (personal loan, SME loans, micro business loans)
- Must have hands-on experience in managing teams for credit analysis, sales, relationship management
- A good understanding of risk, credit policies and procedures.
- Willingness to learn/adapt to technological platforms
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of key drivers/trends and how business works for different geographies
- Proven record of leading teams to big wins
