Job Description
1. Leads the Business of the division to ensure established revenue, cost containment, and service targets are met.
2. Leads the retail management team to take a focused approach to solving business challenges by developing action plans that address specific risks and opportunities within each supporting department to meet or exceed net profit goals
3. Takes a leadership role in the development of all retail strategic plans. Successfully advocates and achieves the necessary support to improve the retail operating efficiencies.
4. Development & management of the total sales organization by implementing a Robust SOP’s across the Retail and Distribution network.
5. Develops and leads the product/marketing strategies, visual/store planning concepts and also Leads the team in the development, testing, and implementation of all product/ marketing, planning/systems, operations, and visual initiatives.
6. Leads the operations team in the implementation and continued management of the best practises in customer service to achieve financial goals and Customer satisfaction.
7. Leads New product category planning and development, resulting to a growth in the Topline and bottomline.
8. Works closely with direct reports to develop and implement ongoing performance goals, improvement plans, training and career progression in a timely manner.
9. Understand the market environment and competition plans and suggest the most suitable marketing plan for the business unit
10. Co-ordinate with retail operations team and plan the monthly marketing event calendar and ensure adherence to the same
11. Plan for various in-store promotion programs and co-ordinate to ensure adherence to timelines
12. Engage with marketing agencies to design and approve the creative
13. Ensure development of merchandising and communication for the products in line with the business unit strategy
14. Ensure the promotion material is available to the outlets and instructions given on the use/display of the same
15. Engage with marketing agencies or local advertising options like newspaper, fliers etc. to execute the marketing program.
16. Ensure successful implementation of ATL/BTL activities and Promotion.
17. Managing the New Product Development Process in co-ordination with different functional teams within the Business or outside the business.
